My name is Silvan van der Zwaag. I’m a guitarist, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Rotterdam. You probably guessed it, the guy on the photo is me.
Music has been my spirit language for 30+ years, whether on stage with countless bands & artists or in the studio shaping soundscapes that push beyond the expected.
Under the name HolyokeI release autonomous music, where I explore the space between dreamlike nostalgia and experimental storytelling. Influenced by the raw energy of the ’90s & the rise of electronic music, my sound drifts somewhere between Boards of Canada, Four Tet, Múm and Oneohtrix Point Never.
My debut album , All for That One Time is a mostly instrumental nostalgic journey that balances between the urge to explore and the comforting feeling of returning home.
